HMM-363 Cpl Hiram A. Hogg:

This is a good shot of the Large Black Water tower used to hold the water for the showers. This is taken at the rear of the Barracks at Phu Bai looking towards the Mess hall. You can see the water truck refilling the water towers. The white one is under pressure and was used for food preparation in the Mess hall. Both tanks could be used in case of fire.  Cpl Hiram A. Hogg is seen here in uniform with no chevrons.  Rank didn"t mean much in Nam.  However, you will notice the Combat Aircrew Wings.  They we always worn with GREAT PRIDE.

Clearly shows the new (HF) High Frequency Antenna mounted to the rear of the gunners window. These were installed at MMAF by a special crew while the squadron was stationed at Phu Bai in 1968.

  In Flight Lunch:

It was a frequent task in HMM-363 to take indigents to or from some outpost.  Makes you kind of wonder how this family fared over the years.

These men were in my section, I regret that I cannot recall their names. I believe that the one on the far right was a CPL Mason, and in front is a CPL Todd. I pray that they are all well and prosperous. They were TOPS.
